Arts & Antiques Fundraiser

Through this fundraising partnership, we are encouraging people who believe that education can radically be redefined for the future.  If you believe in what Abot Tala stands for and if you have paintings or antiques that you would like to auction off, we invite you to join this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of teenagers.

Leon Gallery founder, Jaime de Leon is presented with an Amorsolo painting by Abot Tala founder, Joei Villarama to kick off the auction fundraiser for Abot Tala.   The painting on the right by MonicqueVillaflores was the first painting sold in this fundraising effort, and was donated by Abot Tala pioneer supporter, Tinky Cabanatan Cruz.

The  Fundraising Auction

For each item auctioned, 80% of the proceeds goes to the seller while 20% goes to Abot Tala.  The seller could also choose to donate a bigger percentage if they wish.  For instance, the owner of the Amorsolo painting is donating 50% of the proceeds to Abot Tala.  Leon Gallery waives its commission in favor of Abot Tala as its gallant gesture to support this education advocacy.

Leon Gallery continuously holds auctions throughout the year so anything collected to support Abot Tala can always be included in the next scheduled auction.
